My Agenda
The Dark Knit is all about combining knitting and fashion. I present my own designs and patterns, but also the works of other knitwear and textile designers. TDK can serve as a great portal to finding great knitwear-design on the web. There is no question that there are too many boring blogs about knitting socks and baby-sweaters out there. TDK is all about inspiring the fashionistas with a desire to create their own pieces in the latest fashion.
Who am I?
Currently 28 years old, I live in up the cold north of Oslo, Norway.
That's a country in Scandinavia. ;) Next to the more known Sweden.
I like to think of myself as a creative person, and I use many techniques and venues as an outlet for my need to create.
I may be young, but I've been knitting, crocheting, painting and beading since I was very young, so I have a lot of experience. It's a family thing. :)
My dream for the future is to open up my own Knitwear-store slash café. A place where fashion, home-made creations and the craft-community at large can meet and relax without persecution. ;) Maybe some day..
